McElreath Farm A Christmas Tree with a Story... The McElreath Family are your neighbors and founders of First Pioneer Insurance Agency in Aberdeen and Boone.

In 1999, Jimmy and Pam decided to convert their pasture land in Sugar Grove into a Christmas tree farm. They planted North Carolina Fraser fir trees on the property and harvested their first Christmas tree crop in 2010. Their daughter Lynnea grew up in Moore County but knew at a young age that she wanted to live on the family land in the home that her great-grandfather built. The Christmas trees b

ecame the aisle for her wedding in 2008. Lynnea, her husband Sean and their two children, Sylas and Iris (pictured above), are the sixth generation of family to live on the 60-acre farm.
