Nestled in the beautiful White Mountains of New Hampshire, Tarrnation Flower Farm is home to exquisitely grown cut flowers that serve New England and beyond with the freshest of blooms. From mid-May through mid-October our farm stand and design studio is full of arrangements and buckets of blooms for our CSA, weddings and events, and customers stopping by to tour our property.

Peony season has arrived! 🌸

This year looks a little different, though. Between severe temperature fluctuations during bud formation, botrytis blight, and what appears to be some nutrient deficiencies, we’ve unfortunately lost about half of our peony crop.
Honestly, since the late freeze three years ago, I haven’t seen them perform quite the same.

Come fall, I have plans to expand, divide, and feed the plants in hopes that next June brings the booming blooms we all love. They just need a little extra care and attention.

In the meantime, peonies will be limited, but you’ll still find them mixed into our bouquets alongside some truly stunning early-summer annuals. This week’s snapdragons are double, frilly, lightly scented dreams! ✨

On that note, our Peony CSA shares begin this week, and we’re also hosting an on-the-farm peony design class! I still have two spots available for Saturday, and the flower bar will be packed with beautiful blooms for you to design with and take home. 💕

Summer in northern New Hampshire is hard to beat. June arrives with endless daylight, mountains draped in vibrant green, and lupines painting the roadsides and hillsides in shades of purple and pink. The rivers, fresh from the mountains, run crystal clear and delightfully cold, leading to hidden swimming spots where the water offers the perfect escape on a warm afternoon.

We are stepping into a beautiful time for flowers. From fragrant stock, papery poppies, vibrant snap dragons and our perennials such as Peonies, nine bark, and mock orange— these days are not to be missed.

Here’s to the longest most beautiful days of the year and cherishing the places you call home ❤️

Happy FriYAY flower lovers!

Feeling like June around here 🤪! The lists get longer by the day and we are running to keep up with all the planting, harvesting, filling of orders, and more seeding for fall!

Fragrant Stock flower has arrived along side poppies, columbine, and more!

The farm stand remains on early season hours Friday & Saturday, 10-5 and this week THE FIRST STARTS! Find us every Sunday under a tent of blooms, rain or shine down on Riverglen Lane in Littleton, NH! If you haven’t put this awesome market and downtown Littleton on your weekend plans I suggest you do! Main Street is filled with of amazing shops, restaurants, breweries, and more! Our market is such an important piece of summertime on Sunday! Come check it out, 10-1!

A lady and her poppies.

Summer has returned again, though this weekend promises another stretch of cool night air. I’m still holding back on planting the heat-loving crops, choosing instead to focus on the hardy flowers that welcome chilly evenings without complaint.

The days are long now, and every bit of daylight is used well. Slow mornings around the farm, dirt under my nails before breakfast, and hot afternoons cooled by a quick dip in the river—these are the days I feel most alive.

The poppies are popping off in waves of color. Cutting pansies are reaching higher each day, while snapdragons and stock stand tightly budded, waiting for their turn. Peony season is close enough to feel.

There’s a shift happening everywhere I look. In the fields, in the light, in the rhythm of the days. And like the flowers around me, I too feel as though I’m blooming.

We hope last night was our last frost of spring— but other than that we have had sunshine filled days and the planting list gets longer by the minute!

There are moments, when you can feel magic. If you clear your mind, and center yourself— these moments ignite all of your senses.

The farm sung this evening. The apple blossoms opened throughout the day, and as I walked down crab apple alley the hum of the bumblebees was a vibration I don’t think I’ve ever felt before. Knowing our time with these sweet blossoms is fleeting, the bees also felt it as they moved quickly to gather. Thunderstorms are likely after tomorrow’s hot weather, and they will shed their petals to the ground like natures confetti.

What a gift it is to watch natures beauty.

Who’s ready for the weekend and some SUNSHINE?!? I know I am looking forward to hanging up my rain gear to dry and getting my shorts out!

It’s been busy and the weather certainly doesn’t stop us from trying to stay on track around the farm! I am in full blown planting mode 🌱

We will be back open at the farm again this Friday & Saturday 10-5! And I’m excited we will be setting a single stem tulip bar! Time to clean out the fridge for the fresh harvests— so stems are only $1.75 each! Grab as many as you would like 🌷

I’ll also have Spring in a jar mini wrapped arrangements, dahlia tubers, and pansy planters!

Come on by for some blooms— we look forward to seeing you!

Whether you’re a mother by birth, by choice, by circumstance, or simply by the love and care you give to others, I hope yesterday reminded you how deeply meaningful your presence is. To every mom, stepmom, grandmother, pet mom, mentor, caregiver, and nurturing soul — I hope you had a Mother’s Day filled with love, gratitude, peace, and the appreciation you so greatly deserve.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone that came out to the farm, our pop up, or made a pre order — I am so grateful you chose to support local, farm fresh blooms this holiday.

You not just supported our farm, a local business and agriculture, but you also supported FIVE other businesses by buying our flowers! The beautiful ranunculus tucked into jars and some bouquets this week was sourced through our pals at and grown by —I also directly sourced ranunculus from . We had a lovely turn out at our first brunch and blooms at ( it was so scrumptious!). And last but certainly not least, our first collaboration with was a great success— thank you Kesley for thinking of us!

Community, support, and making this world a brighter place by growing flowers is something I am so passionate about. Flowers are such a gift to my life, and to many others.

Mother’s Day for the farm has evolved through growing lessons, natures cruel but not unexpected turns, and spending a great deal of time, investment, and hard work. Planning for 2027 has already begun as we begin to think about our bulb order for next season!

So thank you again dear friends! Tons more blooms are on the way— let’s keep spreading that joy 💐
