We have taken Angus, Simmental, and Murray Grey, which are 3 breeds with their own distinct advantages and add the wild care of the Jersey breed with its outstanding meat flavor and the bonus of the young beef calves nursing on high butterfat and protein milk containing the A2 gene which is known for added health benefits. Feeding:
All animals are fed a high forage diet almost entirely grown on our farm. The forage is balanced with grain, minerals, and vitamins to give them the healthiest balance, diet possible. We feel this is healthier than going all grain or all forage which both have drawbacks when it comes to feeding a balanced diet. Care:
Our animals are raised in a clean dry environment in cold and inclement weather and allowed access to pasture when weather permits.
