Everyone posting their road to Nationals 2026 has got me feeling some serious FOMO but if I’ve learned anything … everything happens for a reason. So while I’m definitly sad I’m not making my way to Massachusetts today , I’m grateful for what I have and for what’s in store for my family next week. Answered prayers and a road to recovery is on the horizon - so I’ll be cheering you all on , and if you think of us at all - send my family the good vibes I’m sending all of you.

In the meantime - I’ll keep milking the girls and looking forward to our next show in July.

Heres my public service announcement for the people in the back 📢

A livestock guardian dog is not a house pet. They were bred for generations to protect livestock from predators and threats. Their job is to patrol, watch over their animals, and be aware of what’s happening around them.

Expecting a livestock guardian dog to sit quietly confined in a corner and never investigate something unusual goes against what they were literally bred to do. They are working dogs with a purpose.

And if you encounter one, yelling, screaming, and acting aggressively isn’t helping the situation. A guardian dog’s instinct is to assess potential threats to its livestock. Calm behavior and common sense go a lot further than creating chaos and then blaming the dog for doing its job.

The sad reality is that too many people are quick to threaten, complain, or call authorities instead of taking a moment to understand the animal and the role it serves. Not every situation is an emergency. Sometimes it’s just a working dog doing exactly what it was bred and trained to do.

But I’m going to be VERY clear for the people doing the yelling and screaming- you threaten me and my dog at a level 10, I’m going to come for you at level 100. Meeting you at your energy level is my specialty. And threats DO NOT make me scared. I think that’s pretty clear.

My animals may not be perfect but either are you. Things do happen. It’s actually not that hard to be calm and do the right thing. Like I would do and have done, for anyone else’s pet.

Yesterday I traveled solo to the NYSDGBA/ CNYDGS 2 ring show in Syracuse, NY.

I brought the big girls out to play and two of my Nigerian juniors. 3 breeds and 2 rings was a bit chaotic solo but I managed to do it ( mostly ) with a bit of success.

The only milker I brought was my absolute love of
my life 2yr/ff Shady Lawn Banana Blonde 🍌👱‍♀️
Blonde was 2 x 2nd place 2yr old behind an absolute powerhouse of a doe. In ring 1 under Cameron Jodlowski the 2yr old 1st place was rightful champion and Blonde was then picked as RGCH !!!! I was shocked and honored and equally as excited for my favorite girl to earn her first milking ribbon ❤️🤍🖤

Our dry yearling Recorded Grade Shady Lawn AS Love Island 🩷🏝️ was 2nd in each of her rings. Sadly the yearling 1st place - Champion did not pull her doe for the next ring and we ended up 2 x RGCH for the day. 💚🤍 this makes her 3x RGCH in the only 2 shows we did this year. Super proud of this girl and she handles like a dream too

Another notable placing was our junior Nigerian Kid - 1st in ring 2 out of 12 and 3rd in ring 1.

Proud of my girls and myself . Looking forward to our next show in July

Also thank you Marisa DeVito for the pics and videos of Blonde !! Had so much fun ( as always ) hanging out and showing together 💓
