It’s been a hills and valleys kind of morning on the farm as we’ve sorted out 10 cows to join the 30 already grazing in our “mountain” pasture and another 20 cows to run into our “creek” pasture. And while we’ve been busy working cows, the local co-op has fertilized 60 acres of recently harvested hay fields for us. We still have 30 acres to harvest as soon as we can get a halfway favorable opportunity.

We finished baling our cut hay and fertilized 20 acres of pasture before the rain moved in this afternoon. Pretty good way to end the week!

My opponent is promising, in her latest commercial, that if elected she will conduct audits of data centers and solar farms. Let me be clear. The Commissioner of Agriculture has absolutely NO AUTHORITY to conduct such audits. I won’t make promises to you that I know I can't keep just to get elected. I will always tell you the truth. I hope I have earned your vote on June 16.
