A heritage breed still pretty new to the U.S., American Bresse, the ultimate all purpose bird. They don’t get monstrous size like the Cornish cross can, but they are much easier to care for, and most importantly, they are a sustainable food supply. Here’s to no longer buying mutant Cornish cross birds to raise and butcher that can’t even mate. Thank you Sunny Acres Farm for the beautiful birds. , ,
