I think hatching time for now is almost done.

Fresh hatched! Moved to brooder on 6/3

I love fresh hatch babies!
What you hear in the background are Jubilee Orpingtons and Swedish Flower Hens in a big brooder that are almost off heat 😉
They did NOT like the light from the camera. Poor babies it scared them.

I have fresh hatched, 1 week olds and almost 4 week olds all ready for homes of both breeds.

These will be headed to the swap in Pacific on 6/6 (if the rain still looks like it will hold off 🙂

16 days till the next hatch.

Let's talk Swedish Flower Hens.
They are a rainbow of colors in the breed.
Having almost went extinct in Sweden before being brought over to the US in 2010, this landraced chicken is cold hardy and lays 150-200 Large-XLarge eggs per year.
They are naturally a healthy disease and joint issue free bird.
Extremely friendly and docile.

Just an all around dual purpose beautiful chicken.

The farm is hatching and hatching and hatching! No egg goes to waste.

If you want a beautiful healthy bird I have chicks for you!

Of course I still have Jubilee Orpingtons as well 🙂
