House after the fire for the Thompson Clan

Hey all! Just a quick update. Nothing major. We have the house. Overall it is in decent shape.
My room is separating from the house. Can see outside through walls. Ceiling is is falling in. Needs level.
Bathroom had no floor the people that were gonna help showed up, told us it was bad and they'd be back and we haven't heard from them again. That was back in March. We did the floors ourselves. And umm we don't know what we are doing. So really odd but we aren't falling through :-)
And need other odds and ends repaired and fixed. But we have a house. And beds and a kitchen and space. Omgosh so exciting!
Shianne is heading off to Pennsylvania for school the first week of September. We are driving her there. Working really hard to get finances to pay for travels and the deposit that all students pay upon arrival $2,200.
I continue to try to see if there's a way to let everyone know how blessed we are. So many people stepped up in so many ways. I tried writing down addresses so those I asked prob are expecting a Thankyou note. Oops. But, I never anticipated a difficulty this extreme. Then with car accident, broken down vehicles, severe sickness, as well as normal life on top of it. Life is only now beginning to be even halfway calm. I apologize for not properly saying thank you. But I hope you all know that we are truly grateful for everything you have done!
The boys are part of basketball this year. We start our homeschool on Tuesday.
Mom is teaching and her students first day is also Tuesday.

Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon we will have an open house for anyone /everyone who would like to see our new - to - us house. We are super excited and want to share with you. It's our way of saying THANK YOU for supporting us as we went through everything this past year. We truly appreciate ALL of you! !

We have a bookmark we made for you as a token of our appreciation.

Also we will be doing fundraisers all day to raise monies for repairs on house. We have t-shirts, yard sale, cinnamon rolls and sausage plates.

We are on hwy 19 N. Headed toward Paris. We are about 4 miles from the SS hospital. We are on the left. If you get to birthright you've gone too far.

It is so exciting! The house is here!
We have some needed repairs and some desires of things to be done this week. We are moving in it on the 1st. I want no more repairs needing to be done just basic upkeep so we can shift our focus off of ourselves. It would be nice to have it complete and to be able to relax a bit. It's been a long time coming.
We are asking if you want to help please do. We have needs from basic repairs to painting, cleaning, curtains, dressers, etc... We will work hard all week and then this weekend will have an open house. Yesterday someone stopped by and installed electricity. So now we can see. Still in major need of plumbing, propane, sub flooring, bathroom redone, attic and porches. Those are some of the big needs. I have it broken down by each room and the basic needs in each room. Please feel free to stop by and help, donate, or whatever you feel led. Thankyou for reading and following God's lead.

Our house is on our property! With that comes some more things to walk through.
We need to do repairs, to get basic needed items, and whatnot. So we will be selling cinnamon rolls, t-shirts, items that have been donated for yard sale, and doing b-b-q fundraisers..
If you want to donate time, supplies, or know how, it would be much appreciated.
Go fund me, we need a little bit more to reach the goal..

Hey there. Hope y'all had a great Christmas. God is awesome. So pleased that Jesus came so that we may have life. Sometimes crazy things happen but then again it is life on earth we are talking about...
Well today is supposed to be the day take 2. Today after paying an additional $2,500 they are supposed to move the house. We will believe it when we see it. But would sure be nice to have our house. We were short before so with the added fees even more short financially. Anyone having extra funds not knowing who to bless? Pick me! Pick me! Lol.
God is great! Thanks for following our story. Please continue to help as God directs.

Hey all, at this point waiting for the ground to dry enough to move the house. Have enough funds to move the house and set up the septic praise the Lord. But apparently you need repairs after moving a house, plumbing, electricity, propane, etc.. so still need some funds in order to get those items. We are currently selling raffle tickets for a yeti cooler packed with items and a deer feeder. If you want tickets let me know asap. Drawing is Dec 22nd. We are also selling t-shirts. The gofundme is just short of the goal on it. We really need to reach it...
So close to the end it's not funny! So close, yet so far away.
