This mornings camera view ❤️

Big Oklahoma skies, rolling pastures, and windmills turning on the horizon. This is where hard work, agriculture, conservation, and Oklahoma’s changing landscape all meet.

We’re proud to call this land home and even prouder to take care of it for the generations that come after us. 🌾🐂

🌱 Growing Grass Is What We Do. 🐄

At Bergen Ranches, we don’t just raise livestock—we use livestock to grow healthier grass. Our cattle have already grazed this pasture twice this year, carefully harvesting only the most nutrient-rich top growth while leaving the plant healthy and ready to regrow.

This style of managed grazing encourages deeper root systems, stronger forage, and healthier soil. Those deep roots help our pastures stay productive even during dry Oklahoma summers, making the land more resilient year after year.

Healthy soil. Healthy grass. Healthy cattle. That’s regenerative ranching, and it’s how we’re working to leave the land better than we found it. 🌾🤠

Sheep and goats are some of the hardest-working members of the ranch.

While cattle build our operation, sheep and goats help us manage it—naturally controlling weeds, reducing brush, improving pasture diversity, and turning unwanted vegetation into valuable nutrition. They help lower fuel loads, promote healthier grasslands, and make our land more resilient for the future.

Good stewardship means using the right tools for the job, and sometimes those tools have four legs.

At Bergen Ranch, we believe working with nature is the best way to care for the land today while protecting it for generations to come. 🌱🐑🐐

There’s something special about working cattle together as a family at Bergen Ranch. Long days, dusty boots, and plenty of teamwork remind us that the best lessons aren’t taught—they’re lived.

Every gate opened, every herd moved, and every challenge faced together strengthens not only our operation but our family. We’re grateful for the opportunity to care for the land, the livestock, and the traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Hard work. Strong values. Family first. That’s life at Bergen Ranch. 🤠🐂🌾

There’s something powerful about standing in a field and remembering that everything starts with the earth beneath our feet.

The land provides when we care for it, learn from it, and leave it better than we found it. Every season teaches us something new, and every generation has the opportunity to improve on the last.

Growing what we need isn’t just about farming—it’s about stewardship, hard work, and faith in the future. Here’s to healthy soil, stronger crops, and doing things a little better than before.

🌾 Rooted in the earth. Guided by experience. Growing for tomorrow. 🌾
