Summer is coming quickly, and we have been getting caught up on all the chores. Cherry tomatoes are ripening fast, our heirloom tomatoes are sizing up, and we are starting to get our second rounds of bunching onions planted along our peppers. The bumble bees are also enjoying all the cucumber and zucchini blooms! This weekend is looking like a good harvest, and we will be ready to share our first harvest of cherry tomatoes and cucumbers! It's Friday! That means we are harvested and ready for La Grange Farmers' Market & Artisans and Henry County Farmers Market tomorrow! We will have all the fresh goodies; Salad Mix, Lettuce Heads, Chard, Kale, Fresh Green Garlic, Garlic Scapes, Microgreens, and the first harvest of zucchini and squash!

We are in June! Don't know how we got here so fast, but summer is coming. The first of our cherry tomatoes are starting to ripen and the zucchini are about to invade! Just a couple more weeks and we will be in full production of Tomatoes, Squash, Zucchini, Cucumbers, Peppers, and fresh herbs!

We hope everyone had a good holiday weekend! Ours was busy, after kicking off our second farmer's market, we got in the high tunnels and got caught up on some chores. All the tomatoes in this tunnel needed their first of the season pruning, getting rid of a few of the bottom leaves that were touching the ground and removing all the suckers. It won't be long before we have our first tomatoes of the season, they are almost 5ft tall and are setting some really nice fruit! Also wanted to show off some tomato pruning fashion haha, we found a good use for the loops on our boots.
