We are in June! Don't know how we got here so fast, but summer is coming. The first of our cherry tomatoes are starting to ripen and the zucchini are about to invade! Just a couple more weeks and we will be in full production of Tomatoes, Squash, Zucchini, Cucumbers, Peppers, and fresh herbs!

We hope everyone had a good holiday weekend! Ours was busy, after kicking off our second farmer's market, we got in the high tunnels and got caught up on some chores. All the tomatoes in this tunnel needed their first of the season pruning, getting rid of a few of the bottom leaves that were touching the ground and removing all the suckers. It won't be long before we have our first tomatoes of the season, they are almost 5ft tall and are setting some really nice fruit! Also wanted to show off some tomato pruning fashion haha, we found a good use for the loops on our boots.

It's market eve again! We will be stocked and ready to elevate everyone's Memorial Day festivities! Come by the La Grange Farmers' Market & Artisans market and grab some fresh Lettuce Mix, Bibb Lettuce Heads, Carrots, Rainbow Chard, Kale, Radishes, Garlic Scapes, fresh cut Microgreens, and some fresh Spring Honey.

We will also be setup at the Henry County Farmers Market for the kickoff weekend! We will have some of everything to kick off the market season! Come by and say high, and grab some goodies from all the local vendors!

Part of our story is sharing their stories. The farmers and producers of Kentucky continue to show up to provide their products with us.

Knowing that your food came from Kentucky soil changes the game. If anything it’s a great conversation starter at the dinner table. We could talk about it for days, because it really is something special.

Our next project is about to get started! We picked up our enclosed trailer today that will be converted into a coolbot, walk in refrigerator. This project will give us the much-needed cold storage for the farm and allow us to streamline our weekly harvest schedules and ensure we have the freshest veggies for market!

Shout out to U.S. Trailer Center in Shelbyville for the top-notch service and the quick in and out today!
