And just like that… my very first farmers market season is officially a wrap. 🤎

Three markets. Three sellouts. And I still can’t quite believe what this little bakery did in its very first season.

🥖 MARKET #1
55 loaves of sourdough
12 cases of cinnamon rolls
12 individual cinnamon rolls
SOLD OUT.

🥖 MARKET #2
40 loaves of sourdough
13 cases of cinnamon rolls
SOLD OUT within the first hour.

That week I was also taking care of sick kiddos, so I wasn’t able to bake nearly as much as I would have liked — but somehow you guys still showed up and cleared my table. 🤎

That brings my first farmers market season to:

✨ THREE sold-out markets

All in my very first season. 🥹

Behind those numbers were some very long days, late nights, early mornings, flour absolutely everywhere, four little ones who still needed their mama, and a husband and family who have supported me through all of it.

So now I’m taking a week off. 🤎

I’m going to get my house back in order, spend some much-needed time with my husband and babies, rest, and pour back into my home after three markets in a row.

Monroe Bakery and Goods isn’t going anywhere. I’m already taking orders for next week — I’m just giving myself one week to be home and be Mom before tying the apron back on. 🥖

To every single person who bought something, came back for more, shared my posts, told a friend, stopped by my booth, or encouraged me along the way:

WE SOLD OUT! 🤎

What an incredible way to finish my last Sultan Farmers Market of the season.

Today you all showed up and completely cleared my tables:

🍞 20 Classic Sourdough loaves
🌾 30 Ancient Grain Sourdough loaves
🤎 22 cases of Cinnamon Rolls
🤎 6 individual Cinnamon Rolls
🌿 10 Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccias

Every single thing I brought SOLD OUT. 🥹

And today was a little extra special (and a little extra crazy 😂) because my mom is out of town, which meant I had all of my babies there with me for the market. Running a little bakery while raising four little ones is definitely not always easy, and there are plenty of exhausting, messy days behind what you see on the table.

But standing there today with my babies beside me, watching everything I spent so many hours making go home with people in our community… my heart was so full.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, came back after trying us at a previous market, told a friend about Monroe Bakery & Goods, or simply stopped to say something kind.

When I first brought my bread to the Sultan Farmers Market, I truly didn’t know what to expect. To finish my third and final market of the season completely SOLD OUT — with my babies right there alongside me — is something I’ll remember for a long time.

Thank you, Sultan, for welcoming my little bakery and supporting something I’ve poured so much work, time, and heart into. 🤎

This may have been my final farmers market of the season, but Monroe Bakery & Goods isn’t going anywhere!

This Saturday is a little bittersweet for me. 🤎

It will be Monroe Bakery & Goods’ final Sultan Farmers Market of the season, and I truly can’t believe how much love you all have shown my little bakery.

What started as me baking from my home kitchen has turned into early mornings, flour everywhere, lots of sourdough, cinnamon rolls cooling on the counter, and getting to meet so many wonderful people in our community. Watching you come back for another loaf, bring a friend, or tell me that your family loved something I made has meant more to me than you probably realize.

So for our last market, I’m going BIG. 🤎 I’ll be bringing plenty of Classic Artisan Sourdough, Ancient Grain Khorasan Sourdough, Garden Rosemary Focaccia, and my soft Cinnamon Rolls with Whipped Maple Espresso Cream Cheese Frosting.

Everything is handcrafted in small batches with ingredients I feel good about feeding my own family.

Come see me this Saturday at the

Sultan Farmers Market, 10 AM–2 PM

(or until I sell out!). I would absolutely love to finish out my first market season surrounded by the community that made it so special.
