This Saturday at Farmers Market on the Square is week 10 of CSA pickup. Pictured are the large and small shares for this week, including a special treat from New Life Farm, LLC: Pink eye purple hull peas.

We are on the lighter side this week at market with CSA members getting priority on produce that is available through the end of prior successions and the first taste of new successions.

At market, we'll have the following available:

Should be a nice day tomorrow at the Farmers Market on the Square. Hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe Independence Day celebration. May the grilling continue this weekend and grab some lettuce (heads or bagged) to put on your burger. We have most everything you need for a light crisp salad, as well.

I've always wanted to do one of those cool CSA snapshots that displays what's in the bag/box for the week. This is week 4 of CSA and we're happy to say that we met our goal for our desired number of members for our first year!

Thanks to those of you who took the leap with us, invested in us, and made a commitment to eat healthy throughout the 24 week CSA season. We are humbled by your support and appreciation.

Don't forget, we are Certified Naturally Grown - Think Certified Organic but grassroots and for the interests of small farms.

We're excited for another Saturday morning at the Farmers Market on the Square.

Emily's beautiful bouquets are back again!

We will have cucumbers in limited quantities as they start to get into full swing.

Pictured below alongside the bouquets is Dill! Use as as a fresh culinary herb, dry it, or even freeze it for longer term use. Of course, you can use it when you begin to can pickles.

Besides the few newcomers to market, we will also have the following:

It looks like the weather might break for a nice Saturday at the Farmers Market on the Square. We should have enough Sugar Snap Peas to satisfy everyone this week. You really need to come get these before I eat them all myself.
