Hare and Back Again Rabbitry Sales Policy
Thank you for visiting our rabbitry page. If you are interested in a rabbit please read our sales policy below. By purchasing a rabbit or placing a deposit, you agree to abide by these terms. Please Have a wonderful day!
General
⦁ All Sales are final. No refunds, replacements or exchanges on rabbits.
⦁ All rabbits sold will be over 8 weeks old. We do not sell underage rabbits.
⦁ Rabbits only leave once full purchase price is paid. No exceptions.
⦁ Once the rabbit leaves my possession, we will not be held liable for any problems that arise from our transaction, either directly or indirectly.
⦁ No visitors in the rabbitry in order to offer our herd a peaceful and disease-free environment. Rabbit inspections will be done on the front porch, a meeting area or show.
⦁ If you are unable to care for your rabbit any longer, feel free to contact us and see if we have the space for it. Once a rabbit is returned it will not be sold back to you, though it may be sold to others, kept or culled if showing signs of illness.
Reservations, Deposits and Payments
⦁ Rabbits will require a 50% deposit to hold. Rabbits will be held for the agreed upon time period ( no more than two weeks out or till next show).
⦁ Deposits are nonrefundable. If we cancel the sale without explanation , your deposit will be returned to you.
⦁ We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a sale at any time during the sales process without warning or explanation. If you choose to forfeit the sale for any reason, your deposits/payments are forfeited
⦁ Rabbits are sold first come first served and will not be held without deposit.
⦁ If rabbits are not picked up within 24 hours of the arranged pick-up date and time, then your deposits/payments are forfeited and I will resell or retain the rabbit.
⦁ Deposits are accepted via PayPal (Friends & Family) and CashApp. We accept cash for in person sales and balances.
⦁ Prices may vary depending on the breed, age, s*x, type, color, gender and bloodline of each individual rabbit. Often rabbits from within the same litter may result in different prices.
Guarantees
⦁ We do not guarantee a rabbit's show or breeding results.
⦁ We do not guarantee any rabbit’s future breeding ability, reproductive performance, quality of offspring, show winning, temperament, size, etc. What you see at the time of purchase is what you are purchasing and it is solely at your own risk.
⦁ We do not knowingly sell any sick rabbits. All rabbits are inspected prior to being placed for sale and only healthy rabbits leave the rabbitry. We are not responsible for any vet bills incurred by rabbits that have been sold.
⦁ Rabbits are checked for gender prior to being placed for sale but we can't 100% guarantee younger animals. Buyer is responsible for double checking the rabbit prior to completing the purchase.
⦁ Aggressive rabbits are culled, not sold. Rabbits are handled regularly for health checks and general care.
⦁ Rabbits are sold with as much information on them as possible.
⦁ Proven means bred and produced live kits. This includes rabbits that have kindled prior to coming into our possession.
⦁ Show Qualify means it is free of anything that would disqualify it from the show table.
⦁ Brood means this rabbit is an animal that can be used for breeding, rather than show.
⦁ Pet rabbits will not come with a pedigree and may or may not come with a tattoo that would disqualify it from show.
⦁ Meat rabbits will not come with a pedigree and may or may not come with a tattoo that would disqualify it from show.
Delivery & Pickup
⦁ We do not provide carriers. Please bring your own appropriate carrier. We reserve the right to refuse to relinquish possession of the rabbit due to inappropriate carrier.
⦁ We don't ship rabbits. You can arrange transport and are responsible for all the arrangements including all costs.
⦁ We will gladly bring a rabbit to a show we are attending with a minimum 24 hours notice. At shows, rabbits must be picked up before 9 am. If you are a no call/ no show, rabbit will be made available at the show.
Prefixes, Pedigrees & Tattoos
⦁ All pedigreed rabbits will be tattooed in the left ear prior to leaving.
⦁ Pedigrees can be printed or emailed or both with prior payment and notice.
⦁ Any rabbits named on their pedigree are to remain that way. Rabbits without formal names and just an ear number may be named by the purchaser but ear number is to remain the same and please inform us so we can have that name on file.
⦁ All pedigreed rabbits will come with the prefix Hare & Back Again's. This prefix should be listed on pedigrees and not changed.
