We’ve got something new for you to try… whole rabbit meat from Pasture in the Hills right here in Nicholas County!

It can be used in most of the ways that chicken is used. Like other lean meat, poultry and fish, rabbit meat is a good source of high-quality protein. The meat is fine grained and mild flavored.

🎃📚 What a Spooktacular Event! 👻🧡
Everyone had an amazing time at the Kids Pumpkin Painting & Read Aloud hosted by Fresh Start Market on Saturday, October 3rd! Over 100 children came out for an afternoon filled with creativity, books, and lots of Halloween fun!
Children had the opportunity to:
🎨 Paint and decorate their very own pumpkin
📖 Enjoy a special read aloud
📚 Take home a FREE book
👻 Choose from FREE Halloween costumes
A huge thank you to Save the Children, Early Learning Coalition, Nicholas County Schools, Nicholas County Literacy Association, and Fresh Start Market for working together to make this wonderful event possible!
We are so grateful to be part of a community that comes together to promote literacy, learning, and joyful experiences for our children.

SATURDAY KIDS EVENT ‼️🎃

This Saturday, October 3rd, we’re hosting our annual kid’s pumpkin painting and read aloud with “Velma” the RV! This is a free event we like to do for the community - we provide all of the supplies and they get a free book to take home from “Velma!”

*There will also be free children’s Halloween costumes while supplies last!

Pumpkin Painting 10:00am - 2:00pm
Read-Alouds 10:00am - 1:00pm

We absolutely love seeing all the kids come out so make plans to stop by!
