The warmer weather this week is giving Spring vibes - and we're here for it! 🌸🌻

It's not too early to start planning for your summer garden, and Vannoy Family Farms wants to help. We're now scheduling garden tilling services beginning in late February.

Hey Summertown/Lawrence County friends!

In an effort to have our ducks in a row for the 2026 season (for once in our lives), we're coming to our neighbors to gauge interest in adding sunflowers to our farm! 🌻

So, we wanna hear from our families, photographers, flower connoisseurs, or just folks who appreciate a pretty view:
1. If a sunflower field were available near you, would you be interested in using it as a backdrop for family photos, maternity pics, etc.?
2. Would you be interested in fresh cut bouquets of sunflowers or a variety of wildflowers?
3. Any other feedback to share to a family farm looking to diversify while the economic outlook for the ag industry is dim?

Our first effort is supporting our local community, whether it be filling your freezer with beef, pork or lamb, custom hay orders, mums, etc. - thus it only makes sense we come to you to see what you're looking for.

These cool mornings may have you yearning for fall, but it’s not too late to fire up the grill!

We have a half beef available for delivery first week of October. Half beef could also be split into two quarter orders.

This beef has already gone to process, so the cuts are already determined. We assure customers would receive a mix of ground beef, specialty cuts, roasts, and anything else to make meal planninf easy for the family. 🥩

How about those ribbons?! 🥇🥈🥉🏅

We’ve been a little quiet on social media these days, but it’s not because we’re being lazy. This summer we’ve spent hundreds of hours in the hayfield and the kitchen working to put up food for the winter (for both the two and four legged animals).

These ribbons, may they be tiny in size, are such a humble reminder that even when the world seems to be falling down around us, we’re doing pretty okay.

Good Morning, Southern Middle Tennessee!

If you haven’t heard - Vannoy Family Farms is back in the mum business! We’ve been keeping the roads hot with travel but our mums are finally ready for your porch. This warm weather may say otherwise, but Fall is around the corner, and we’d love to be a part of your shopping needs this season.

We’ll be set up in the parking lot of the Lawrenceburg Bargain Hunt from 8AM – 1PM Saturday, September 21st. First come first serve, the flyer shows what colors we have available. Check back Saturday morning for photos in the comments of what we have available.

Find yourself scrounging for breakfast ingredients during the summer months? Allow Vannoy Family Farms to help!

We have mild AND hot sausage back from processing available, as well as farm fresh eggs in 12 or 18 count. We'll make breakfast easy with one stop by the farm. Don't sleep on the hot sausage, there's not much to go around!

Ma's beef boxes will be available for pickup/delivery the week of May 13th - just in time for the kiddos to come home hungry for the summer. 😉

Order your box this week and we'll throw in a FREE dozen farm fresh eggs. Look at us - helping you cover breakfast AND dinner! Reservations are first come, first serve and steak cuts may vary based on availability.

Let’s talk about the value of a good friend, shall we?

On Monday night, a wind storm took down our sheep and tool storage shelter (see last picture). It was the first day of session for one of us, first day of school for the other and the last thing we needed to be dealing with days before below 0 degree temps was re-building a vital structure.

What was meant to be a text to friends complaining about how the universe hates us turned into an outpouring of offers to help. In a matter of a day, we managed to move the rubble of the old structure, take out every screw, and then rebuild the structure - this time as a lean-to onto our current barn. She’s far from perfect right now, but the memories we’ll have of these fine folks gathering to help a friend in need is far more valuable than any shiny metal surface.

Here’s to the incoming winter blast. Stay safe, stay warm, and stay steadfast in prayer for us who have to make sure animals are fed and water is busted.

Love all of your cold faces who came to help today, we owe you times infinity 🫶🏼
