The loofahs have already left the trellis… and the garden! This is the earliest we’ve seen them escape. There is already such a large harvest that will far exceed past years (as long as the hurricanes stay away.) I believe this is Arden’s third or fourth year growing these and saving seeds from the best gourds. She also grew some bird house gourds this year as part of her SC 4H small garden project which was fun! Let us know if you’re interested in more loofah rabbit toys this year 🤗😍.

We went to Aiken, SC this weekend for one of our favorite shows. Arden showed Champagnes, Cremes, and one English Lop. She enjoyed lots of BOB wins and a special Best in Show win on Friday night with a very nice Intermediate Champagne doe. I need to set a reminder to take more pics at these shows 🤦🏼‍♀️🤗.

Great way to support the new Southern Charm Rabbit Club and bring more shows to the SC, NC, GA area 🫶🏻.

Awesome weekend at the Laurens show! The highlight was definitely Arden’s leadership in the 4H rabbit clinic, but she did very well on the show table as well.
She got great feedback on her intermediate Champagnes that she wanted some opinions on and snagged 2 youth BIS and 1 youth RIS with them.
She brought a nice line up of her English Lop grow outs and also brought Bless Your Hops URSA and Bless your Hops Gold. All of them did so well bouncing between BOV, BOSV and a BOB for Flowertown Rabbit’s Biscuit and BOSB with BYH Gold. It was a big show for Gold as he gained his final points for his TOP LOP position 🏆. Excited to see where that got him.
Rowan showed her two junior Thriantas OKRA and OLDBAY. They are still quite young, but OKRA grabbed a BOB and OLDBAY got a BOSB out of a nice line up, grabbing a couple junior legs to get started with.
Arden also received her sweepstakes awards from the Thrianta club. ❤️

Today, Arden had the opportunity to practice one of the most valuable life skills, public speaking, and I'm incredibly proud of how wonderful she did. Every showmanship presentation is a chance to grow in confidence, communicate with purpose, and inspire others. Watching Arden find her voice and believe in herself makes my heart so full. If you're looking for a program that encourages leadership, responsibility, and personal growth, ARBA and 4-H are truly amazing places to start.

This was our first time at the Smithfield show and it was a ton of fun. The youth contests were amazing and the group running them were so organized and supportive ❤️. Arden was able to easily show and participate in every contest. She really enjoyed trying her hand at youth judging and took first place in Showmanship and second in Breed ID. She brought a couple junior Champagnes as well as an intermediate and took BOB in open for all three shows against a very competitive line up! She also brought along three intermediate English Lops from her first litter. Buckwheat took BOB in open with show A and Show C and Benedict stayed on his heels with a couple BOV wins. Buckwheat also took RIS in show C.
After his awesome day of wins, Buckwheat headed home with Jenny with Bless your Hops to do amazing things in Florida 🫶🏻. Jenny swapped Arden with a gorgeous black tort doe that will help her so much on her Elop journey with the breed.

Arden just planted her 🌱 loofah crop! She's hoping for another successful year. By selling the loofahs she grew, she was able to pay for the majority of her trip to Indiana last year for the 2025 ARBA convention to show her rabbits! She sold them across the U.S to rabbit owners as rabbit toys, crafters, soap makers as exfoliators, and some people who just enjoyed having a natural sponge to use for cleaning. We will have to get a map together for this year to pin all the places she ships her loofahs out to. 🤗
* To anyone that is reading this post that bought some of her loofahs last year, thank you for supporting our little entrepreneur, and keeping her motivated to grow them for the third year in a row.

Lovely day at the IRBA Spring Fling show.
Arden was able to participate in several
youth events which is always a highlight for her. The IRBA club does an amazing job including the youth in each show. We are thankful for the time judge Haley Maday took with Arden to explain more about tapering and peak placement. It's always great to expand on knowledge through hands on learning.
Lots of great feedback and placements for the young rabbits that made their first time debuts on the show tables this weekend.

Champagne D Argents
Show A: FT43:BOB, FT47:BOSB
Show B: FT43:BOB, FT47:BOSB
Show C: FT43:BOB, JELLYROLL:BOSB
* FT43 (Flowertown’s Dandelion) showing up as an intermediate now has the three legs she needs to be granded with her 3 BOB wins.
*FT47 (Flowertown’s Dill) is right behind his sister with his BOSB wins and just needs to catch up to her size.

English Lops
All 4 littermates shown as Juniors.
Show A: FT52: BOB
Show B: FT52: BOB
Show C: FT51: BOSB
Really excited about this litter with both FT52 and FT51 getting very promising feedback and placements. Can't wait to watch these juniors continue to grow out!

Also we are very excited to bring home two
Himalayans to add to the rabbitry for our Dorchester 4H Rabbit Club! These very sweet Himis will be invaluable in helping kiddos build confidence and learn how to navigate showmanship using with their incrediblely calm and loving temperaments. Thank you Misti Dawn and Robin Olson!
