One of our grand willow oaks was struck by lightning yesterday evening in an intense storm that rolled through. I was under the barn when the lightning struck and saw the bark explode off the tree. We are so thankful it did not hit the cabin or the house and that we did not sustain any other damage. These summer storms are intense!
