Its my tranquility of peace. 😊

Someone asked me to describe my farm in one sentence.

I said: it is 180 acres of clay-loam soil, a decent set of buildings, a tractor that has opinions, and a gate that has needed fixing for two years and keeps not getting fixed because there is always something more urgent.

They said: that is a description, not a feeling.

I thought about that.

So I said: it is the place where I am exactly who I am, all the way to the edge of me, with nothing left over to pretend with.

They said that was better.

I am 22. I am single. The gate still needs fixing. The rest of it is exactly right. 🌾
