This Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Roast Chicken turned out so tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It was the perfect easy dinner for a busy day, with fresh lemon, garlic, herbs, and a simple sauce drizzled over the top.

I used a beautiful farm-fresh chicken from my friends at The Urban Roost Homestead, and this recipe was inspired by RecipeTin Eats.

New CrystalCooks video is up!

This Lemon Garlic Slow Cooker Chicken turned out so tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I used a beautiful farm-fresh chicken from my friends at The Urban Roost Homestead and tried a RecipeTin Eats recipe that was perfect for a busy day.

The slow cooker did most of the work, then I finished it under the broiler and made a simple lemon sauce to drizzle over the top. It was fresh, comforting, and so good with carrots on the side.

This time I’m making Cranberry Orange Scones from Hillbilly Kitchen: Verses & Vittles by Becky Walker. These scones are soft, lightly sweet, filled with dried cranberries, and finished with a simple orange glaze. They make such a cozy treat with a cup of coffee or tea.
