We have cage free birds only. We keep them only in a bordering barn till they get feathers, then welcome to the real world my feathered baby’s. Yes I say baby’s because they are to us no matter what. We see one hurt we will try to catch and doctor it up. If not and it seems to be suffering we will not allow that at all. They are feed NON-GMO FEED year round. We are always learning and keeping a open mind to what others say to help better our ways or to improve our flocks. We also do butcher and canning all the meat for meals later down the road, this is a working farm to the fullest.

Be sure you know the conditions of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds; for riches do not endure forever, and a crown is not secure for all generations. Proverbs 27:34-35
