The Asian Pantry, also part of The Yard at Portofino Food is producing a Chaoshan Beef Ball as their first of many products. Pure culinary martial arts!🥩

Traditional methods require chefs taking heavy iron bars and smash the fresh beef for 40 minutes straight to keep the muscle fibers intact. The result? A meatball so dense, snappy, and elastic that it can literally bounce like a ping-pong ball. 🏓. Ivan and his team come from this very unique and special part of China and bring their unique flavor and production methods to produce this product in their own unique way. This is not your normal meatball.

Chaoshan is the haven for all foodies. They use the freshest ingredients and the simplest seasonings to bring out the real natural flavors of the food. It’s only a 2 hour train ride from Guangzhou or Hongkong, but Chaoshan is to Chinese food what Tuscany is to Italian food, a region with its own identity, traditions, and an extraordinary culinary heritage. It’s often regarded as the Mecca of Chinese cuisine.

One bite delivers a massive explosion of savory broth. Dip it in rich Shacha sauce, and your tastebuds will never be the same. 🤤

• Production Cooks
• Delivery Drivers

This is a fast-paced USDA food manufacturing environment with opportunities to grow alongside an experienced team producing food for the Pacific Northwest.

Schedule:
Monday–Saturday
Early morning through evening shifts available

Experience in USDA, food manufacturing, commissary kitchens, production kitchens, or warehouse operations is a huge bonus — but we’re willing to train motivated people with strong work ethic and reliability.

Spanish-speaking employees are absolutely welcome.
