Mocha made an honest woman out of me, and had 6 fat babies late this morning. One blue otter, one blue, and 4 broken.
Smaller than her usual litter, but thankful none the less.
Excited for the fur and temperaments on these babies!

It has been A 🙏 LONG 🙏 WAIT!🙏
But we might FINALLY have babies tomorrow.
Our first in almost a year.
After bringing in a new buck, heat sterility, and some overweight mama's who did not want to lift.
If I have faith in ANYBUNNY, it's our OG, Mocha.

I didn't think she was pregnant.
I failed at palpitating.
And then today...I noticed she was rather...rotund.
I put a nest box in this evening, and some hay. She IMMEDIATELY got busy. Within an hour she was pulling fur.
We made an emergency run for more straw.

She's bred to our sweet REW buck, Tofu.
So, if nothing else, I'm looking forward to some babies with amazing temperaments.

Go mama, go!
If I'm a fool tomorrow, so be it.

All 3 rabbit kiddos had a good day at a local Winter show. I didn't get any pictures of Ez and his REW Rex Buck, because...

All 3 rabbit kiddos had a good day at a local Winter show. I didn't get any pictures of Ez and his REW Rex Buck, because he was too busy making friends 😅
Harengon 's BANG got BOV. K's CHH's Chocolate Otter Sr Doe-CRINKLE (that we took mostly for comments) got BOV in one ring and 2nd in the next. Newby RRR's Chocolate Jr Buck, Austin, got BOV in both rings.
Hunter joined the ranks with a Netherland Dwarf (so tiny!) His Jr Buck, Quality Netherland's Q5 (Marshmallow) got great comments in both rings, and was best REW Jr. Buck
Now for a rest until the Ft Worth Stock Show in February!
