Hello everyone! I know I’ve been a little mia lately. Life just was happening and things on the farm have been busy!
With that, having a farm with animals you love so very much and treating them as if they are part of your family, it can be very hard to deal with difficult days.
We unfortunately had a loss this morning. With goats being goats, injuries and accidents happen. Our sweet Vinny has crossed the rainbow bridge. We aren’t 100% sure what happened but we suspect rough housing between him and the other boys we have. He may have been little but he was fierce and held his own. We cared for him overnight and made sure he got all the love we could give and I did give him some pain medication to help but his injuries were more severe than we thought.
Vinny passed with love surrounding him this morning and we are preparing a special spot to place him. Please keep our farm family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate the loss of our beloved goat.
