Right now Stan is the sole proprietor of the farm. But he wants to ensure this 7.8 acre farm in Sun Prairie remains a working farm for the next 100 years.

To turn control over to the community. To turn this farm into a cooperative with 4,000 - 7,000 members who will protect its future and all share in the farm's future profits as a result.

The investment to become a pledged owner is only a one-time payment of $500, which will be due when the buyout is triggered at 4,000 members.

The Bloomin' Farm Cooperative exists to make sure this doesn't happen to this unique acreage in Sun Prairie.

With the roundabout construction on Highway 19, the front entrance is difficult to use. To keep everyone safe, the front gate may be closed during market and greenhouse hours.

But we're OPEN! And if you haven't used it, there's a back entrance to the farm.

Simply turn in on Charlotte's Way. Turn left on Templeton Terrance. And you'll find the back entrance on your left.

Much easier to get in and out of the farm this way (at least during this first phase of construction).

And when you visit, we may be in the greenhouses. So if you're ready to check out or need help, simply look for us there.

While the selection's getting smaller, we've still got plenty of baskets and pots we'd rather have bringing joy and beauty to someone's home than staying here on the farm.
