Having a farm can be so hard at times! The long and short of it is, is that things die... Animals get sick, they get hurt, and sometimes they just get old...Our girls Ruby was the best but unfortunately her age caught up with her. She was our first milk cow and was by far everyone's favorite. She had the patience of a saint when john and I (and the kids) were learning to milk. She would adopt and nurse any orphan and loved a good brushing. Things here will be a little less bright here now that she has passed on!
