A little construction update! 🔨 🪵 Local crews have been hard at work finishing our new sugarhouse garage. We will be working next on the interior shelving and organization. The garage will serve as bulk barrel and dry good supply storage so we have more available space inside the sugarhouse. Happy Sunday! 🍁

Locals and visitors - the cows made it to Burkehaven hill 🦕 today. They promptly explored, scratched on dino rock, and hid in the shade down below. As you travel by, say hi to some of our favorite girls April 🤎 Moriah 🖤 and Chickadee 🤎 Oh and our arborist did a bit of tree pruning for the landowner too 🌳

Did you know? There are four grades of maple syrup 🍁 We’re doing samples this morning. Plus we’ve also got our bourbon barrel ( barrels 🥃!) aged maple syrup. Stop by for a visit and grab some grass fed beef too.

Late Spring and Early Summer brings a BIG to do list on the farm. It’s all hands on deck for fencing, grazing plans, first cut hay, annual beef herd check and vaccinations, equipment fixing, firewood making - all while our crew continues their tree care schedule 🌳 I almost forgot maple syrup 🍁 orders, shipping and beef sales too 🥩 You can catch that availability list on our website.
