Widdoss Farm & Apiary Welcome to our farm - located in Sunbright TN we just planted a lot of fruit trees and can't wait to What the heck were we thinking? In April 2021, we sold it!

In April 2014 we bought our farm - 39 acres in Greenville AL, no friends, no family living here, just dreams and visions of getting out of the rat race of life and finding a simplier way of living. We work harder now, but knowing where your food came from, what you are eating and that you did it yourself is well worth the reward! Fish habitat upgrade: Complete! 🌲🐟

We put some trees in the pond today to give the fish a great place to hide and hang out. They’re currently staging a floating protest on the surface, but they’ll eventually sink to the bottom where they belong.

Today, as the sun comes up over the pastures and the day begins, we are pausing to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day.

It is so easy to get caught up in the long weekend, the barbecues, and the start of summer. But today isn't just a holiday—it’s a solemn reminder of the immense cost of our freedom. We are holding space today for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, giving up all their tomorrows so that we could enjoy our todays.

Every single freedom we cherish—the peace to tend our land, raise our animals, and live our lives in security—was bought and paid for by those who never made it back home to their own families.

To all the families who carry the heavy weight of a empty seat at the table: we see you, we honor your loved ones, and we are profoundly grateful. May we live lives worthy of their sacrifice.

We harvested this cherry tree right here on our land, and seeing the finished woodwork holding up the heart of the living room is incredibly rewarding. Teamwork definitely made the dream work today!
