I know this isn’t “store related” but I had a proud aunty/momma moment, and it just so happen to happen at the store!

While working on the store yesterday afternoon, we turned on the NASCAR Race, like every Sunday! Before the races start they play the National Anthem after prayer. I looked over and both my girls and my niece were standing as pictured below. I teared up. 🥲 I was so proud and full of joy that without any navigation they were standing and their hands over their hearts! 🥰 and yes, we were all in pjs and comfy clothes bc I mean it was a gloomy day! lol 😝

So all in all on sundays we have the nascar race on at the store if you happen to walk pass by and hear yelling, yeah, that’s us yelling at the tv 🤣

Wow! We were not expecting all the shares and love so quickly! Thank you all so much! Just goes to show what an outstanding community we have! Keep a watch out! Remodel update coming this evening!

We want to be a transparent as possible, we are doing much of the work ourselves and as quickly as possible! However, we will be needing an Electrician soon! So comment ⬇️ who you recommend! We would like to keep it to a local person or company as we too like to support our local tradesmen/ women! 😉

Let’s start off by introducing us! We are the Fladung’s! My name is Ciarra and my husband is Tyler! We moved to Sunburg in 2021, and have fallen in love with the small town charm. Tyler is from here but moved to Texas as a young child. I was born and raised in Texas! We met in high-school and have been together 15 years married 8! We have two beautiful girls, Kaylynn and Raelynn! We are now proud to call Sunburg Mn HOME! 🏡 In August 2025 we bought what was known to the locals as the Sunburg Trading Post! Which was a loved grocery store for our little town! We are working to bring that back to life with a little twist! I have created this page to keep everyone updated on remodels and to inform everyone when we can FINALLY OPEN! Follow along with us and keep in the loop, along with seeing sneak peaks on how the remodels are coming 😉 We hope we can provide all the necessary needs Sunburg needs and wants!
