ITS A GIRL!
Never a dull moment around here. Reba’s due date was Friday. Eric went to check on her at 2 in the morning, no calf. Eric checked on her around 4:30, surprise there’s a calf! He woke me up to help pull Reba out to milk and get the calf dry. Mom and baby are both doing great.

Reba only kicked a few times before she realized that milking wasn’t so bad (I’m sure there will be a few more kicks)

she still needs a name. We have to stick with female country to go with Reba, fancy, and dolly.

Never a dull moment around this place…. I got a call from the neighbor when I was at the feed mill asking if I was missing three heifers?! He’s describing them to me and I’m like yup those are my heifers…. Keep in mind it’s just magnolia and I…. Little help she is! So I need yall to picture my fa**ss catching these three heifers in a wide open field! But they are back home where they belong and it was much easier than I thought!

Today we added these three boys…. Chocolate,vanilla, and jinks. The boys are so excited to start working with them! We are ready for fair season! If you drive by and see us out working the animals, give us a honk or stop over!
