RIP to two of our 3 roosters. We had an attack while they were free ranging and lost Phil, our Easter Egger rooster from last summer, and Pikachu. Pika was honestly a jerk and we aren't heartbroken but thankful he kept the younger girls safe. Phil is a loss, he was a good and mostly sweet rooster. Luckily all girls are safe and accounted for!

Did you know that chickens like to sun bathe? Just like people, the Vitamin D helps their bone development and the sunshine helps with egg production. Phil is doing a great job watching over his ladies this afternoon while they soak up the sunshine!
