2025 CROOK COUNTY FARM BUREAU
FEDERATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

QUALIFICATIONS:
• A resident of Crook County and a graduating senior from an accredited Crook County high school, home school or virtual school, or have a certificate of high school graduation/diploma OR
• A resident of Crook County and a student at a college, vocational program, or other training.
• Applicant or applicant’s parent/guardian MUST have a current regular membership in their name with Crook County Farm Bureau Federation, paid up by March 1, of current year.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA based on a 4.0 scale.

HOW TO APPLY:
1. DEADLINE: The application packet MUST be received by March 30, 2025, 11:59 pm.

2. A complete application packet MUST include:
> The current year 2 page scholarship application. (Do not add pages to expand on questions) > A current academic transcript (most recent semester).
> Two (2) current letters of recommendation dated and signed (not older than 12 months)

3. Submit application either by:
EMAIL: Scan all documents and email to Crook County Farm Bureau Federation: [email protected] or [email protected]
(Note: please scan/save all documents into a SINGLE PDF document and make sure all pages are legible) OR
Print and mail to: CCFBF Scholarship, P.O. Box 488, Sundance, WY 82729. Must be received by deadline.

4. Applications from Crook County high school counselors, Mountain West Insurance office at 109 N. 3rd St., Sundance or online at: https://www.wyfb.org/get-involved/county-farm-bureau-federations/crook-county Potential Scholarships: First place $2,000; Second place $1,500; Third place $1,000

Just a reminder, a special meeting has been called by our President, Vance Steedley, to review and make necessary changes to the Crook County Farm Bureau Federation ByLaws, on December 5th at 5:30pm. We will hold this meeting at Crook County Farm Bureau Financial Services office, located at 109 N 3rd St in Sundance WY.

We will be reviewing the ByLaws in order to make changes that will help clarify rules and regulations going forward into the New Year. The regularly scheduled monthly Board of Director's meeting will follow.

Vance called this meeting on November 1st at 3:26pm with the Board of Directors in a group text message. Notice was sent to the local papers to post announcement. Any and all members are welcome to attend in order to cast their opinions on any and all changes to be made. See you there!
