Had some broken pieces today both purple and green.
Here is an asparagus recipe for you.
Pan fried asparagus with kielbasa.
2 lbs. fresh Asparagus (D.A. Smiarowski Farms…of course)
1 kielbasa
Cut the asparagus in 1” pieces.
Cut kielbasa into coins and add to the asparagus.
Simmer in a small amount of water with the cover on.(Don’t let it burn)
Let the asparagus soften but do not let it get mushy.
At that point drain the water from the pan.
Add olive oil or avocado oil, salt and pepper to taste. Again, do not let it burn.
Add 3-4 teaspoons of butter and some Parmesan cheese to finish it off.
Serve and pare with you favorite adult beverage. Enjoy!!!!
