Zan & Zoe Farm Co. We are the Mazurek Family! Follow along as our family goes on our biggest adventure yet. We are Megan and Sean. They are our why. This is our journey. Welcome!

We will be building a poultry permaculture farm from the ground up - revitalizing a farm that hasn't been worked in a generation, DIY renovating a ~200 year old farm house, homeschooling our children, taking care of our animals, and planting and harvesting an organic garden. Our farm is named after our two beautiful kids, Zander and Zoelle.

I am so sorry that we have been MIA for the past six months. A lot of you know that I (Megan) became a single mom in January; a traumatic event led to my ex being removed from our home. Our whole world was rocked, to say the least, and things have been really difficult.

I couldn’t keep up with the farm while managing my children’s healing as well as my own (on top of tons of court dates, doctors, therapists, working full time, etc). Thank God for my mom, she’s been here constantly as our rock. My sister Erin and my dad have too.

We had to make some heartbreaking decisions. We decided that we wouldn’t be doing meat pigs and chickens this year. We also decided that we wouldn’t be attending the farmers market as planned.

Thank you so much to everyone for being patient while I learn to navigate this new life. We miss our market family so much. We don’t plan on this being forever. We have a huge garden this year that will feed Sundown/Grahamsville first. If we have extras, we will definitely try to do a pop up at the market if we can. I plan on giving meat another go, maybe next year, and purchasing some equipment that takes the place of the muscle that isn’t here anymore.

So this isn’t a goodbye, it’s a we’ll see you later! We love you all! 💚
