Rambo, our registered Katahdin, has been busy. Cannot wait to see the lambs in September and October. Conner, our registered Dorper, joins his 20 ewes on Monday.

Yes, we are still around, just have been handling family matters for a few months. In October, David was diagnosed with kindey cancer. He had surgery in November and is slowing getting back to doing what he loves.

Also in October, Ann’s mom was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in November.

We did lamb in October. The first picture is a few lambs we have left. David was busy pushing snow last week so we could get around the farm. We are currently lambing another group. (Second picture) Of course, many lambs have decided to come in the last couple days when temperatures are in single digits. Maybe we will get some of those great silent nighttime pictures for the next post.

A huge thank you to the many generous hands that came in support. From daily feeding, moving round bales, grinding feed, cleaning pens, weaning lambs, hoof trimming, CDT shots, loading out and hauling lambs, and buyers patience with scheduling and jumping in to help out as well! We could not have succeeded without you! THANK YOU! 😊
