The first blooms on the folgate lavender have opened and the bees were ready for it!

We hope you are too. Starting June 19 and every Friday through Monday we will be open for U-picks, Wreath making and Bath Salt making.

The lavender is rain drenched this morning and oh so close to blooming!
The buds are days away from opening. This is our folgate lavender, an English variety that is sweet in flavor and perfect for culinary use.

One of our favorite moments on the farm is coming soon 💜. The culinary lavender is deep purple already. It is the first to bloom, eager to greet summer while the rest of the field is still waking up. Note the difference, the Grosso is a French lavender and is still so very green. But the waves of purple are coming soon. I can’t wait.

We love collaborating with our neighbors! has held such a special place in my heart since arriving on island. I have always loved to visit and explore noticing the changes with the seasons.
