3 Ingredient (4 with essential oil scents)
laundry soap. I make liquid but you can do powder as well.
Grate 2 bars of Fels Naptha and dissolve on the stove in a gallon of water. (don't let it boil just simmer) Turn off heat and add 1 cup Borax and 1 cup washing soda. Stir well and pour in a 5-gallon bucket ( add scent if you like) stir every couple hours. Let sit 8- 12 hours stir again and bottle up (or use right from the bucket)
Cost is about 3.50 for 5 gallons of laundry soap!! I use 1/2 cup average per load. More for soiled clothes and less for our dress clothing.
