As we roll into the winter months, farmers and ranchers are already making their plans for the next growing season 🌱👩🏼‍🌾🧄 Our producer map helps connect you, our community, with local producers, helping to create a more sustainable and local food system in Lassen County!

If there are crops or items you would like to see at the market next year, we’d love to hear about them, and help to integrate those ideas into producers plans for next year. Crazy colored tomatoes, spicy hot 🥵 peppers, pasture raised eggs and poultry, specialty flowers, anything else, we’re all ears!

In an effort to reduce waste, and to help meet our own composting needs, Thompson Peak Education Farm in Janesville, CA is accepted leaves and pumpkins up until November 7th!

Happy Fall Y’all! With that comes those pesky leaves and rotten pumpkins. Thompson Peak Ed. Farm is able and willing to take your fall leaves (no weeds or pine needles please) and pumpkins this season!

In an effort to keep valuable plant materials out of the dump and create our own compost on site, we would love to give your leaves and pumpkins a chance to help build soil health and grow veggies for Lassen County 🍂🎃🍁
