Doe of the day, Day 4!

Charming Valley AW Elenor 1*M

Elenor is one of my older original does who i just adore. She is the sweetest do anything you ask type does. More than one 4h kid has used her for showmanship because shes just so well behaved in and out of the ring.

I dried Elenor up early this year as her age was catching up with her so she did not get scored at this years LA stop but her last score was VVEV88. She is CM Negative.

Dam: Mini Ridge Top Annabelle

This will more than likely be Elenors last kidding before retirement. She is bred to Lazy P Farms WN Waylon.

Doe of the day, Day 3!

Twin Pears Maj’s Fashion Week 8*M Elite

Not much to say on this beautiful girl that hasn’t already been said. Shes the no nonsense one of the bunch, she knows her job and does it well. She has been on the elite list every year in the 99 percentile since she was a yearling! She passes this production on to each of her kids all of which have made the elite list when put on milk test. This pretty girl placed 2nd in every class at our last show and had 1st place udder.

Doe of the day, Day 2 !

Lazy P Farms Rita on the Rocks 7*M (Elite) AKA Roxy

Where to start with this girl, dont tell the others but she is hands down the favorite in the barn! Her dam Oak Apple Layla 6*M was my heart goat who passed away when Roxy was about 7 weeks old. So I of course kept Roxy and her littermate brother Waylon a decision I have not regretted once.

As a 2 year old second freshener she scored VVEV87, and was in the 95th percentile on milk test this year. While she is a tall girl she is thankfully not over height. She is one of the most easy going does, and passes that down to her kids. Ive retained one of her bucklings from this year and he has not disappointed at all !

She is CM negative. Her doeling reservations are full, but she does have 1 buck spot available. She is being bred this year to Twin pears Z Cuppa Joe *B.

"Doe of the day, Day 1"

The Story of Lazy P Farms WN Annie Oakleaf !

This little girl brings me so much happiness ! I never planned on keeping a kid from her dam (The MB Farms Honey) as she wasn’t what we will call “fancy”, she was an amazing milker though topping at over 6 pounds a day on milk test.

Last year Honey (AKA Peaches) had a really rough kidding, I had to call for help. We managed to get the large stuck kid out but not without doing some damage. Needless to say Honey is now retired! It was a pretty big mess and a long recovery (shes not fully recovered but enough that shes enjoying her retirement in the doe pen ). I had to pull kids (3 bucklings, 1 doeling) and bottle raise them. I got pretty attached to Oakley and decided why not !

Fast forward to today, she kidded in June and like her mama she is putting the milk in the pail, but thankfully this girl got her sires (Lazy P Farm WN Waylon) looks ! She recently appraised at VVVG85 as a yearling First Freshener and is currently in the 91 percentile on ADGA milk test.

She will be bred this year to Twin Pears Z Cuppa Joe! Reservations are open on her. I did keep her doeling from this year ( Lazy P Farms LV Clementine), and shes already looking amazing !!
