Saturday 9-5-26.
Such a beautiful day! Seems odd not be be outside getting the farmstand ready for the day.

But, there is no fruit to pick and pack up for selling and so we are still closed. (Our early apples got hit pretty badly by the freeze as did the peaches.)

We are hoping to OPEN around September 17-18-19ish with our own "already picked apples". 🍎🍎🍎

It's September.
We promised an update regarding our apple, c***r, and "U-PICK Apples" availabity.

Our Apple crop fared better than we originally expected after the April freeze but there is still significant loss.

We will NOT OFFER U-PICK APPLES at this time.

Our target date to OPEN for already picked apples, with c***r to follow is the week of Septemeber 14th.

We plan to give more specifics as the apples continue to develop and ripen.

Thankful for the rain and the beautiful rainbow, reminding us of God’s promise and faithfulness to us.

It's been a month since the April freeze that affected farms throughout the northeast.
Here's what we know regarding our orchard and the fruit.
🍑Peach Crop: A total loss. We will not have any peaches this year.
(This means our farm stand will not be open this summer.)
🍎Apple Crop: While much of the crop froze out, there were some late blooming varieties that show signs of encouragement with possible fruit development for the fall.
We will keep you updated as the season progresses.

These fragile apple tree blooms could not withstand last night’s brutal temperatures. Full effect of the fruit damage can’t be seen for another 36-48 hours.
