The kids 4H money this year was invested in pigs. We have a few of them ready to be butchered. If you are interested, available in whole, half, or 1/4 hog.
Pigs raised not in confinement and without antibiotics. Contact me if interested.

We are always so proud of the kids and their projects. This was the first year Karianne was old enough to show at the Iowa State Fair and it was a great couple days. We had not bred for showing at this time of year so we felt really good about her rabbits bringing home a bunch of blue ribbons. The highlights were in Showmanship. Karianne was Reserve Jr Showman and one of the top scores on the day. She also took part in educational contest and was State Fair Champion across all ages.
When a project excels it is great but we will always consider Showmanship an exceptional win.

Probably our proudest moment of the shows today was Karianne winning Champion Jr. Showmanship.

Great day at the O'Brien County Fair.
Rabbit Show was first. Karianne showed 8 rabbits. She won a couple Best of Breeds and Reserve Best of Breeds. Ultimately Reserve in Show with her Mini Satin.
