🍷🍂 October is pouring a little something for everyone in Sutter Creek! Crisp autumn air, charming Main Street strolls, a glass of your favorite local w**e and a calendar full of reasons to gather. October along W**e on 49 is looking rather lovely, if we do say so ourselves!

From live music in the garden and art-filled evenings to olive oil pairings, w**e trivia and a little Halloween mystery, here’s what’s happening at our local tasting rooms this month.

🍷 October 9 | La Mesa — Gather your cleverest friends for Big Brain Trivia Night! W**e, friendly competition and plenty of laughs.

🎶 October 10 | Baiocchi W**es — Spend your Saturday afternoon enjoying live music in the garden with Nicholas Lefler from 1–4 PM. **es

🫒 October 10 & 24 | Bella Grace — A little sip, a little drizzle! Discover the delicious pairing of estate olive oils and locally crafted w**es.

🎨 October 17 | Yorba W**es — Where w**e meets art! Enjoy an evening celebrating artist Arun Patel’s exhibition, with a reception from 5–7 PM. The exhibition continues through December. **es

🍇 October 22–25 | Raven’s Reach W**ery — You Make the Call! Club members can taste six unreleased w**es and help choose what comes next. **ery

🍽️ October 25 | Yorba W**es — Sunday Lunch at Taste! A thoughtfully prepared menu paired with Yorba w**es. Reservations required.

Harvest has a way of making everything feel a little more alive. 🍇 Early mornings in the vineyard, full bins coming in, hands moving quickly and another vintage beginning to take shape.

Here’s a glimpse behind the scenes at La Mesa with Vineyard Manager Jesus Duran and Owner/W**emaker Côme Laguë, along with the crew bringing this year’s harvest in one row, one cluster and one very early morning at a time.

It’s one of the busiest seasons of the year, but also one of the most rewarding because this is where the next chapter in the bottle begins.

Did you celebrate National Port W**e Day last week? 🍷
And if the answer is no… there’s still time. Because really, a good Port-style w**e doesn’t need a holiday.

Along W**e on 49, there are a few sweet pours worth discovering.

At Bella Grace Vineyards , the Vino Doce is a Port-style w**e made from 100% Estate Syrah, fortified and then aged quietly in neutral oak barrels for an average of three years.

At Raven’s Reach W**ery **ery, the 2023 Petit Manseng offers something a little unexpected…a white Port-style dessert w**e made from a grape rarely found in California. Floral, fruity and bright with acidity, it’s especially lovely with ginger snaps, gingerbread or your favorite ginger cookie.

And for another pairing moment, Yorba W**es **es is currently carrying shortbread cookies, which would make a beautiful little companion to a dessert-style pour. ✨

So maybe we’re extending the celebration just a little longer. Which are you reaching for first: a rich Syrah Port-style pour or a lighter white dessert w**e?
