Bakkers Acres A local, family-owned, family-run orchard. We are a family-owned and family-run business located a few miles north of Suttons Bay. Enjoy!

We do our best to provide you with delicious, high quality fruit and vegetables that are absolutely as fresh as possible. We grow fruit and vegetables from apples to zucchini, including peaches, pears, plums, nectarines, chestnuts, cherries and rasberries. We regularly attend all of the Leelanau Farmer's Markets and in the fall set up a 24-hour self-service stand at the farm. Shipping is available to wherever you have need of fruit.

We have some tarts!
There will not be a whole lot of tart cherries this year, but we managed to get some picked. We had them at the Suttons Bay and Empire farmers markets this morning, and expect to have them this coming Tuesday in Glen Arbor and possibly Thursday at Leland. It will be a short season for them, so get them while you can!

It's a berry good day at the Suttons Bay and Empire farmers markets! We have blueberries, red and black raspberries, mulberries, light and dark sweet cherries, Danube tart cherries, sugar snap peas, fresh eggs and Triumph apples at both markets today
The Suttons Bay market is still at the Ice Rink Park for today, but will be back at North Park next weekend

Happy Independence Day!
Strawberry season is winding down, but we still have some at both the Empire and Suttons Bay farmers markets, along with rhubarb, sugar snap peas, a few varieties of apples and fresh eggs.
Remember that the Suttons Bay market is at the Ice Rink Park for a few more weeks, and NOT at our normal location at North Park.
