Super proud of the rest of our crew!
Kacie Fessler and her Intuition x Dominator gilt was penned 8 out of 22 in class 1 York breeding gilts, this is her first year showing! Tyler showed the wheels off his Intuition x Dominator gilt in the purebred market class but didn’t catch a pen, he also had a strong showing with his NSN x LIU barrow. A good time was had by all!

A little state fair catch up! We had a great time and it was a great experience for everyone!
Jack had a good state fair.
His KOQ X SAN York gilt was penned 6 out of 22 in class 2. His KOQ x SAN barrow was penned 8 out of 24 in class 2 Purebred market hogs.

Fun fair day! Just a few highlights!
Jack had to take a backseat to Ava today!
Ava had Champion Purebred Breeding Gilt and Reserve Champion Overall Breeding Gilt. She also was Champion Junior Showman.
Jack had Reserve Champion Purebred Breeding Gilt and he was Reserve Champion Advanced Showman!
All of our other pigs had a great day also!

Another weekend and another win for the Darling crew and their gilt “New York”, but more importantly is the second picture of the Reserve Champion York. The second gilt represents a full circle moment for not only Colby but myself included. This gilt is out of the York gilt Colby purchased from us last year, he put in the time bred her, farrowed her, and put together a great set of hogs! Hard work pays off, we are super proud of you!

While we love to see our clients win hog shows, seeing our genetics work for others in the crate is just as rewarding. Our buddy Colby Darling purchased this Aged to Perfection x Dominator gilt at the Northern Exposure Pig Sale and showed her in Minnesota winning Grand Champion Breeding Gilt at his county fair and was third overall Yorkshire Breeding Gilt at the Minnesota State Fair Open Show. She laid down and had 12 purebred York babies all on her own! Congrats pal!

For us she is what we have built around with only one of her daughters leaving this farm. She stamps them and stamps them hard.
