Many tasty things happening at Thomas Mercantile on this fine Thursday. Ask Jastin Kay, he enjoyed an Aggie Ice Cream vanilla shake this morning! In addition, we have wild_hart_herb sourdough breads made with Kamut flour, which contains an ancient grain with lots of protein and a low glycemic index. You can also grab Kouign-Amann, a French pastry with layers of caramelized goodness, or small banana cream, raisin, or mixed berry pies.

In case you need some dinner, try our Spicy Italian Squash or Creamy Tomato soups. Our special for Thursday and Friday is French Dip, made with roast beef from lowerfoodsoutlet.

Thoroughly Tasty Thursday is here, and with it homemade sourdough bread from Wild Hart & Herb. This bread is made with Kamut flour, which contains an ancient grain that is easier to digest than modern grains, is high in protein, and has a low glycemic index. We also have fresh pies made in-house, including Caramel Pecan Cream, Strawberry Rhubarb, and Raisin. We also have Kouign Amann, a French pastry with layers of caramelized dough.

Irish Potato Soup (with Idaho potatoes) is on the specials board at Thomas Mercantile this week until we run out. You won’t want to miss it! (You can even grab a load of Wild Hart & Herb to enjoy with the soup. We’ll slice the loaf and provide butter.)

We are also serving Creamy tomato, which is a standout amongst tomato soup aficionados. It pairs well with a grilled cheese or quesadilla.
