Sourdough bread and pies and cinnamon rolls and French pastry…oh, my! Come on over to Thomas Mercantile for some tasty fresh baked goodness. Our bakers were up all night and into the morning hours to assure quality for you.

Wild Hart & Herb sourdough is made with Kamut flour, which contains an ancient grain and is high in protein and easy on the gut. Pie flavors this week are Peach, Cherry, and Coconut Cream. The pastry is Kouign-Amann from the Brittany region of France. It has layers of tasty dough with caramelized butter and sugar between.

Come and get it! Fresh-baked goodies from Wild Hart & Herb and Thomas Mercantile, available at Thomas Mercantile in Swan Lake, halfway between Logan and Pocatello along US-91. We have sourdough made with Kamut flour, an ancient grain with a low glycemic index. It is high in protein and easy on the gut. We also have cinnamon rolls; Kouign-Amann (a French pastry with caramelized butter and sugar between the layers); and apple, mixed berry, and chocolate cream mini pies. Thomas Mercantile has added a new flavor of delectable treat from The Caramel Tree, which is located in Rigby. The company is not based in a big city (unless you compare Rigby to Swan Lake). They don’t have a fancy story. They just make ridiculously good caramel in small batches, using traditional methods, and the finest ingredients.
