Heading home from our first KCBS World invitational BBQ. Fun was had this weekend! We heard our name once this weekend for a 14th place pork. We were very happy to see friends hear their names often!!! Congrats to Kings and Wags on their GC’s and Scuffletown and Phantom Smoke on their RGC’s. Congrats to everyone who got calls in this field of world class teams!

🇺🇸 KCBS World Invitational – More Than Just BBQ 🇺🇸

Today, Alpine Smoke Works is honored to be competing against some of the best barbecue teams in the world at the KCBS World Invitational. While we're here chasing great scores and representing our sponsors, we're also proud to be carrying a mission that means even more to us.

At our cook site, we've partnered with 1 Patriot Project to host a su***de prevention and veteran support awareness table. The message is simple but powerful:
"Silence is the Loudest Noise."

Every day, veterans, first responders, and others in our communities face battles that can't be seen. Through 1 Patriot Project, we're helping spread awareness, providing resources, and reminding people that help is available and no one has to fight alone.
As we approach Memorial Day, we're reminded that this holiday is far more than the unofficial start of summer. It is a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.

Today we cook in their honor. We remember those we've lost, support those still fighting unseen battles, and cherish the freedoms they secured for all of us.
