It’s time for a big apology!

Due to a mistake this morning (7/25) some eggs went out for sale at the Burlington Farmers Market that had not been properly stored. If you bought out eggs 7/25 they should be discarded immediately and please please reach out so we can refund you! Eggs for sale in our farm stand are fresh and unaffected. This is only a few dozen Hudak Farm eggs sold Saturday, 7/25 at the Burlington Farmers Market. We have the best customers and are so grateful you choose us every week. Biggest apologies and thank you from the bottom of our heart for making this community so special ❤️

PLEASE no trash!

Our brush drop-off site is open to the public 24/7 to drop off leaves, yard waste, brush, block wood and stumps for a small fee. We also have totes for free food waste drop off. We DO NOT accept building materials or painted wood and we definitely do not accept junk appliances and old furniture. No tires, no mattresses, no plastic bags, no empty water bottles.

We are seeing a rise in people dropping off junk, and a rise in phone calls asking if we accept things like refrigerators or old AC units. We are a composting facility, not a dump. If it can’t be composted we don’t want it!

If you have something that is not compostable, please reach out to the Northwest Solid Waste District about proper disposal. They accept those kinds of items, we do not.

A moment of silence, please, for the 2026 strawberry pick-your-own season. Due to rain and weather we are probably not going to be opening up pick-you-own berries this year. Unfortunately when it rains and rains at just the wrong moment of berry ripening, the strawberries turn to mush. Additionally, the road into the berry patch is not in great condition right now (think Fairfield in mud season).

We are still picking berries every day for sales in the farm stand and at the farmers market, and we are starting to have more and more summer produce. PLUS annual flowers and veg plants are 20% off, so plenty of reasons to stop by!
