Bees love extraction day! All that honey that leaks out! (I am guilty of scooping it up on my finger and eating it).

Pulled more supers today. 2 mediums on 1 hive. Beautiful frames. Blue ribbon frames. Some are wet capped but still good honey! And my lord the hive beetles! I have dollar tree dry swiffer pads and I will swear on the bible those things are amazing. I would say i got hundreds of those dang beetles between my 5 hives. Hives look good. 3 more hives to pull but they only have one super each. Got stung in the ear Tuesday. That hurts. Then I dropped my AirPod in a pool of honey. 🤨

She was very frantic. Covered in pollen and being busy as a bee. This goldenrod is covered in honey bees and bumble bees and other pollinators. The smell of goldenrod honey is unique and wonderful.

Pulled a deep super and 1 medium super. I have another super on the same hive that is almost ready to be capped. I have about 115 lbs just in these 2 supers. It’s very dark honey. Tastes like molasses and heaven.
