Meet Skullcap—one of the herbs I’ll introduce you to in my June 17 workshop, Soothing Herbs for Stressful Times.

How many times have you woken in the night, and found your spinning mind won’t let you go back to sleep? All those to-dos and regrets and worries won’t let you be, and you lie there feeling ever more agitated.

Skullcap to the rescue—she pats you on the head, says “never you mind now,” and before you know it, you’re back in dreamland. No scary side effects.

On top of that, she’s beautiful and easily cultivated in your own garden, will often rebloom later in the season, and makes babies to share with your friends.

Would you like to meet skullcap, learn to grow her, and to make your own herbal preparations to soothe your anxieties and support your own wellness?

Join us Wednesday, June 17, 6-8 pm at Tippin’ Rock Farm, 227 Swanzey Lake Road for Soothing Herbs for Stressful Times. We’ll meet calming plants in garden and field and learn growing, foraging and harvesting tips. We’ll talk about using these herbs in such preparations as teas, extracts and elixirs. Then you’ll make your own extract to take home for a little nervous system support.

Workshop will be held light rain or shine; we’ll have an indoor space to craft. Cost is $30, with some materials provided. (Sliding scale available—pay what you can). Just a few more spaces left—email, leave a comment here or send a message to sign up.
