It all started on our farm in Alstead, I was 10 years old, and Mom spent many a day teaching me how to can food for the winter. I loved it, although my first love was doing crafts, my Mom affectionately referred to me as “Crafty”. For 15 years I pursued my love of making various homemade crafts and taking them to the local craft fairs, later I ventured out to other towns, building my clientele and
meeting new friends. At that point I felt I needed to expand my business to include other products, but what? As an adult, for some reason I had become intimidated by canning food, thinking it was very tricky, and a hard process, even after Mom had taught me all the ins and outs. Needless to say, about five years ago, and encouragement from my mentor, Mom, I started making my own canned food. It is very important to me what ingredients are in the food I am serving my family and customers. Most ingredients are hand picked, or carefully chosen from farm fresh produce stands. I would like to thank all my loyal customers, who have helped me in making my crafts and canning a success. I couldn’t have done it without you.
