‘Mrs. Perry D. Slocum’ water lotus 🪷 Although the peonies are long gone for the year, we still love filling our property with all sorts of beautiful flower varieties to enjoy. This lotus bloom has been my most highly anticipated bloom this summer, and it did not disappoint 😍

Our 2026 peony season has officially ended 🌸

This growing season came with many challenges due to severe fluctuations in weather— late spring frosts followed by heat waves and a hot, humid, and rainy harvest season. Unfortunately we ended up losing about 1/3 of our crop due to issues caused by weather.

However! I am thankful for the many peonies we actually did get to harvest. I know many peony growers who were not as fortunate, so the fact that we had plenty to share is something I am very grateful for ❤️

Sending a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who showed up to support our farm this season! It truly means so much to us, and we can’t wait to see you next spring! 🌿

Happy Saturday! It’s a beautiful morning to come grab a peony bouquet to enjoy this weekend!

Our self-serve flower stand is open 9am to 12pm today, so grab your coffee, enjoy a relaxing drive down some backroads, and grab some of the most gorgeous blooms you ever did see! Quantities are limited, and it is first come, first serve.

🌸 All bouquets $25. Exact cash, Venmo, and PayPal accepted.

🌸Pre-orders are set out with your name on them in a bucket labeled ‘RESERVED for Pre-Orders’.

Doesn’t it just make you want to bury your face in it and inhale deeply? ✨

I love how many people share their sweet stories of peony nostalgia with me. For many, the scent of peonies highlights memories of their childhoods, time spent with mothers or grandmothers, special loved ones, and wandering the garden on a warm, sunny June day 🌸

I think of time with my grandma as a child. Watching with wonder as little ants scurry across those big peony buds 💕
